The Department is looking for candidates who want to make a positive impact! Probation and Parole Officer, Seniors employ a balance of principles related to counseling, case management, and law enforcement to ensure the safety of our communities and individuals who are under the supervision of adult felony probation or parole. Trained in the principles of evidence-based practices, Probation and Parole Officers build rapport with clients and utilize community resources to assist clients in moving toward long-term behavioral change.
Age 18 or older
U.S. citizen
Knowledge of the fundamentals of behavioral science
Knowledge of criminal justice
No felony convictions
No misdemeanors related to deceit, drugs, or sex in the last 5 years
Successfully pass a background investigation
